Objective: Chose two brands for a collaboration. Design a portable pop up shop that fits within the dimensions of a shipping container. Consider the goals of a successful collaboration. Think of the consumer and how they can efficiently interact with the exhibit. I chose McDonalds and Lego because of their similar company values and color palette. 

FUEL YOUR IMAGINATION

"Fuel your imagination" is a tagline that addresses the combined market of Lego and McDonalds. The pop up includes information about upcoming menu items, limited happy meal toys, McDonalds themed Lego sets, and more. The exhibition is designed to create excitement in viewers and encourage them to explore.

COLOR PSYCHOLOGY AND DESIGN

The fascinating color psychology of both brands are specifically engineered to ellicit positive emotion. Studies show that red is associated with excitement and hunger. These bright colors cover the entire exhibit and create a joyus atmosphere.

Both brands have exceptional design and were great inspirations for the exhibit. Lego stores target the imagination of the younger audience with extreme attention to detail. This can be seen in Lego stores where the ceiling lights mirror the famous brick shape. This was the perfect opportunity to use the rectangular shape of my shipping container to create a huge brick. The brick can be recognized from quite a distance and is sure to attract guests. Lego mosaics of McDonalds icons sprawl across the walls. Life size figures use scale to create a sense of awe.
